can you believe i just thought about making up a whole post about the great adventures i've been having since my last post, which also would explain why i haven't posted for so long...? i even started typing some outright lies but i couldn't go through with it. i definitely need some excitement added to my day to day routine. usually i love routine. it cuts down on stress, for me, anyway. routine is good. routine is reliable...routine routine routine. crazy thing - if you say routine over and over enough times you'll start craving some poutine. try it. mmm, poutine. did you know that in dalmeny you can get poutine with meat (chilli, or something like that, i think) on it? never have i seen such, as my brother would say. i haven't tried it. i like my poutine routine. haha.
the biggest plans i have are to mow the lawn - that is, if the lawn mower will start. tomorrow i will do that. everything is getting very leafy suddenly - outside, that is. the lilac buds are just about ready to pop. i love it when you can start to see that haziness of green on trees - not quite leaves, but definitely more than just branches. and there's one area along the highway on my drive to work where the frogs in the ditch are so loud in the evening that they drown out the music in my car as i drive by. this is a true story of spring in saskatchewan.
by now you can probably tell what the real reason for my not posting in a long time is. so i won't have to explain anything.

that picture is awesome, except now i really really want some poutine. great. i think we'll have to eat some when michi and i come over --> that's soon!!! remember when i tried to hem your pants?? haha. i can't wait to see you, even more than i can't wait to eat poutine with you in dalmeny....hope you had fun mowing the lawn. it's raining here today but also hazy-leafy. that's my favorite, too.
also, i like that you added a what-you're-reading sidebar. nice.
love you..............
I still like hearing from you, no matter how much of it is routine!!!!!!
