adventures of carrot, installment 5

One fateful day, cucumber decides to exact his revenge. He captures pear and locks him in the highest tower... but he has made a serious mistake. He has underestimated carrot again - and this time will be the last time, carrot thinks to herself, as she begins the long and torturous climb to the top.

Finally, carrot and pear are reunited.

Foiled! Cucumber tries to make good his escape but he is no match for our heroic carrot. Even though her two limbs may seem stubby to you, they provide the advantage she needs to defeat cucumber once and for all. His cumbersome (pun intended) girth is no match for her limberness (pun intended again - hehe).

And although carrot has long fought the same enemy cucumber has, she has to admit that she feels little regret as she secretly witnesses his demise.
