a royal update on prince carter

august was a busy month in our household... some recent activity included Carter meeting some of his cousins for the first time. needless to say, they like him :) here he is with jason's brother pete and his three girls.


our nephew Tayten was thrilled to have another boy in the family. i guess he figured we needed some more blue to balance out all that pink...

in the last month or so Carter has started to grace us with many smiles and he has become a lot more talkative as well. lots of squealing, cooing, and just general noise making. jason has even convinced him to do a little chuckle a few times lately, which is so cute :) how does he do this, you may ask...it involves a lot of silly/embarrassing in any other situation type noises, sticking out of the tongue, and other ridiculous facial expressions. if you saw it you'd probably laugh too...

looking very grown up at almost three months.

here he is on his three month birthday which was on september 6. as of september 10 he is 22 inches tall, weighs 11 lbs 13 oz, and is maintaining his princely status as the ruler of our household quite nicely :)
