i really don't play sports but am thankful for a husband who does and who can teach carter everything there is to know about baseball or any other ball game he'd like to play.
i remember liking watching baseball sunday afternoons with my dad when i was a kid, but i don't think i have really enjoyed watching it since then. it was fun then because me and my dad did it together :)
i do have some fun(ny) baseball memories, however. i remember the birthday party i was at when one girl ran to third base instead of first and i felt that even though i knew which base was which i had found a kindred spirit of s(p)orts.
and of course there was the time that my brother and sister and i all got food poisoning from the hot dogs we ate at a major league baseball game in minneapolis...
i also remember one summer afternoon my dad was trying to teach me and my mom how to throw properly...i know. already it sounds like a recipe for disaster :) after our lesson he left us to play catch in the backyard while he lay down a little way away from us on a blanket with a book like he often did (and still does). unfortunately, he didn't lie down far away enough... i 'm pretty sure it was my mom's fault that the ball hit him in the head because she's the one that didn't catch it. oops :)

oh my, where did you get that hat?
:)
jason's mom gave it to carter so i'm not sure!
Truly adorable and we just got the family picture in the mail today! Yeah! It's so good. I think Carter looks like Andrea in it, though his expression is a bit Jason-like. I also loved the card. Another Karina original!! We miss you two tons! Sure you don't want to come and see us on your way to or back from Manitoba? Love you
sosososo cute! :)
what a big boy!
Happy Christmas Jay, Karina & Carter! C is one of the cutest babies imaginable. I so enjoy seeing his progress!
I smiled at your baseball stories.....
Love,
Al & Trish
